Bathing is mostly associated with cleanliness and hygiene, but it has many benefits. Bathing not only removes dead cells, sweat and bacteria from the body, but also creates a balance between mind and body. Bathing has been described as very important in Ayurveda. Taking a bath increases the energy of the body and cures laziness. Bathing seems to be a very simple process for everyone, but for this it is important to keep some things in mind.
Check water temperature before bathing.
It has been revealed in many research that by pouring water directly on the head, the water causes damage to the nerves of the brain, so before taking bath, put water on the feet. By doing this you also get an idea of the temperature of the water. If you are healthy and there is no winter, then keep the temperature normal. Hot water is not good for the head and eyes.
Putting water on this body part will reduce stress.
Start bathing, then bow your head and pour water on the back of the neck first. After this, wash the head and then the whole body. In doing this, the vagus nerve is stimulated. This nerve connects the brain with the rest of the body and reduces stress and pain due to its stimulation.
When and who should not take a bath.
In Ayurveda, it is forbidden to bathe after eating food or having breakfast. This is because according to Ayurveda, the body heat or digestive fire is digested. It is affected by taking a bath and the food is not able to be digested. Even if you have a cold, fever, diarrhea, eye or ear related disease or vomiting problem, it should not be taken daily.
